Lack of Manners

You began with the best manners,

displaying your good upbringing from the start,

It seems to have been a show,

for true manners come from the heart,

When anger gets the best of us,

our manners we must contain,

Spilling profanities onto others,

from that we must refrain,

When we are in a state of anger,

our true manners we do display,

It is how we control ourselves,

and what we choose to say,

If we cannot apologise,

we blame others for what we said,

If we cannot apologise,

 apparently our conscious is dead.
